songkhran 2008 in Thailand - water festival 
Where are you heading to on Songkhran 2008? Any recommendations? What are the best places to go and "play water"?
Las tyear I went to Lamphun and Lampang in Northern Thailand - that was wet but a lot of fun... maybe there are other places to experience the water festival this year?

we are going to Ayutthaya about 2 hrs. train ride from Bkk. Ayutthaya is an ancient city and lots of history and temples. Ayutthaya is the capital before Bkk. Check it out!!
Did you join in Kao San Road ? I recommend you to join Water Fes there. Any info. you can ask me.

thanks for your answer! Do you know wether songkhran will be the same in khao san road this year??? I've heard that it may not going to happen this year because of the recent dead of the king's sister...
