I went to a lot of shops, in Sukhumvit Road, in Nang Loeng, near the Phetburi Road and in the end i went to the backpacker Road Kao San. The Shop "Mr. Boss" in the Soi SamButtri tailored me a nice Suite all up 5800 Baht (suite, tie, 2 shirts). The quality is ok and the service was very good. It take one week until it will be ready!

We used Song Smai in Sunghee near krung thon bridge (Tel: 024339881). They are professional and have good quality material. As they cater for Thai's and not tourists the quality matters to ensure return custom. They also have outlets in Chiang Mai, Rama III, Muang Thong Thani and Ramintra. Cost depends on the material used. Shirts around 700Baht, Blazer around 3000-6000Baht, Suit around 5000-10000Baht.
I found tailors everywhere! This was something I had been recommended to do -- take my favourite outfit and have it copied in different fabrics and colours. And let me tell you, there are wall to wall fabrics to choose from! and choose colours/fabrics/designs and get measured, the next day to try the clothes on and make any alterations, I chose a design from a magazine and had a suit and a Thai silk dress made in Savile Row Tailor. It came to about 150 GBP, but considering it was Thai silk and tailor made, I still thought this was reasonable! When my mum and dad went, my dad had a pair of his favourite trousers copied in different colours and this was a lot cheaper than having something designed from scratch.Bear in mind when being measured, you swell in the heat! Highly recommended savilerowfashion@gmail.com
Hi, It was 120s Italian wool, black in colour. They have lots of fabric books. Tell them what you are looking for ie a black fitted suit. They will show you the different fabrics, shades of black and quality of fabric. You then pick the colour and quality you like and ask for a price. Because i bought two suits i got them slightly cheaper I had never been to a tailor before, at first you worry that your suits will not turn out nice. But for me it was money well spent. It was also a great experience. I have a very important interview in 10 days time and am so happy i went to Savile row fashion(Bangkok) Take your wife to the fittings, so that you have a second opinion on the style of the suit when you have the suit on. Your wife can see if it needs taken in more.......... You need to tell the tailor if the shoulders are too big, trousers are too baggy, jacket is too long. Tell him if you want a single rear vent on the jacket, two button or three. I would say there are the best in town. Hope this helps
Hi,I have been using Excelsior.Used them for several years also. Always was good for me. I am what is known as an abnormal person since my arms was fractured and my shoulders are not quite right .I have always been happy with the clothes they made for me. Probably will be getting more shirts/pants made next time I'm in BKK (think will be December). Bangkok got lots of good tailors but its best to go to the ones recommended otherwise the time and day is just ruin in getting it fitted right. Excelsior is reputed to be one of Bangkok's most popular tailors. I was taken there by a courier from the Pinnacle Hotel . There were armed guards outside which was scary but the staff were very friendly, and I felt very special the way I was treated. They have a huge range of fabrics and styles. Oh and they do hotel pickups for free. When i returned form travelling around thailand they couriered my clothes to my room on KO San Road - very helpful as it was rush hour . They have also many famous people come to them. I bought a tailored suit ( jacket and trousers, 3 shirts a 3 ties) a fitted dress for my sister and a kimono for my mum. That all came to 15 500 baht - roughly £200 which i think is fairly cheap - much less than i would have to pay back in the UK.

Its really hard to find a good tailor in Bangkok. They're about a gazillion of them all over town.
The one that I am very happy with both in terms of the final product and the ease in buying is Crown Tailors, just inside of sukhumvit soi 8.
Easy atmosphere, good price, fittings and very impressive final product.
