Travel Agents Khao San Road - Bangkok - Thailand 
What are your positive and negative expierences about the travel agents in the Khao San Road? Has anybody been ripped off?

To say ripped off is maybe too hard but prices vary and it is always a good advice to check out different agencies.
On the other hand some travellers pointed out that it might be a good choice to take the government busses because some routes are infamous for their high rate of thievery even when backpackers travelled at day time.
If I have the possibility I prefer to go by night train because you can sleep very well, it seems pretty secure und you spare the money for the accomodation for the night.

Every travel agency charge per day from the hotel/resort 500 Baht, if you go directly to these places for example you will not pay 1300 Baht just 700 Baht.
