There are sections on the Chattuchak market that sell second hand stuff, probably you can find everything inside this huge market, but it takes some time to get around... Additionally, there is a market for strange electronics, tools, machinery in China town, you could try and have a look there - somewhere on the river side of Yaowarat Road.
Wege nach Thailand?
ich glaube, man kann von China auch über Laos mit dem Bus nach Thailand. Ist weniger überlaufen als Vietnam... aber wahrscheinlich auch schwieriger. Ich werd das nächstes Jahr wohl mal versuchen.
Thailand: Bargeld, Traveller Checks oder Karte
Man kann mit einer EC-Karte, bei der Maestro integriert ist (steht drauf), an vielen Automaten in Thailand Geld abheben... Wieviel das kostet hängt von Deiner Bank ab. Ich habs in letzter Zeit immer so gemacht und es war ziemlich praktisch. Wenn Du ein Konto bei der city bank hast, kostet das abhaben sogar weltweit gar nix.
